Posted by Admin on 06-Jul-10 18:31The Nanaimo Fire Fighters Local 905 Summer Heat black tie affair was put on to raise funds for the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund. Attendants were treated to a black tie affair, complete with fine dining, a live auction, fashion show and dance. Many local businesses donated items to be auctioned off to raise funds for this important cause. Torry and Sons was proud to be a part of this night, donating a Sony Flat Screen TV raising $1200.00 alone on the TV. Approximately $30, 000 to $40,000 was raised in total. The event was a huge success. Thanks to the Fire Fighters Local 905 for having us be a part of this wonderful event.
